The “HIRMINA PRIZE” is an initiative to recognise and give support and visibility to projects and programs related to higher education, social development and sustainability.
The Hirmina Prize aims to encourage, through financial support, the materialisation of initiatives that promote a better world.
The winner of this year 2023 was announced at the International Gala “Education for Sustainability”, and it was the “Connecting the World to end poverty” project, presented by VILLAGE BOOK BUILDERS.
The winning project focuses on offering responses adapted to local problems in Latin America through the development of libraries and support centres under the banner of ‘Mentoring Programs’. The presenters of this proposal pledged to demonstrate the impact of such a programme by monitoring and evaluating its actions on their website.
On the other hand, the project presented by Peace and Sport, “Peacemakers Project”, happened to be a finalist. This proposal seeks to recognise the positive impact that socialising through sport has on young people.
These are the finalists who inspire and give hope for a better and more sustainable world.
